Is it a late bloomer We always thought that might be what its named for, but L.A.T.E is an acronym, and turns out its a solid mid-season bloomer! We asked, and UK dahlia judge Rosemary Porter answered ” …named after his (breeder Tom Cleghorn’s) daughter which covered the first three initials and he added the E as she was always Late”.
L.A.T.E is a beautiful peachy orange ball. The colouring can shift with the winds of cooler temperatures to reveal blends of pink, yellow, and orange tones. Gorgeous long stems and a beauty for bouquets and the garden.
