Medeek Meadows Dahlia Farm – Terrace BC Canada 🇨🇦
Owners Meg Hoole and Darryl Tucker have made Terrace home since moving to the area in 1995/96. Spectacular scenery abounds here. Breathtaking snow capped mountains, big rivers, birds, wildlife and big trees. There’s seemingly endless opportunity for 4 seasons of outdoor recreation including fishing, camping, mountain biking, bird watching, downhill and cross country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, swimming, boating, kayaking, photography and more. Discover everything about Terrace at our beautiful visitor centre.
We take great pride & immense joy in growing dahlias and sharing all the beauty of the blooms. Hybridizing new dahlia cultivars is Meg’s passion and the Skeena Dahlias are Meg’s labour of love. The farm has a small footprint both in size and in the context of sustainability. We are proudly a quiet human scale operation. We hand till our growing beds without machinery, we plant everything by hand, we tend the plants by hand, and we harvest everything by hand.
Fresh cut dahlia flowers are sold in bouquets or bucketfuls during the summer & early fall months (mid July until first frost in the fall). We supply gardeners, growers and florists across Canada with farm grown dahlia tubers sold thru our online shop January thru May.
